Piraeus pronounced Pireas is located southwest of Athens center and lies along the Saronic Gulf. The city provides a wide variety of entertainment as its famous for its traditional Greek tavernas and restaurants, especially in the districts of Piraiki and Mikrolimano. The open-air Veakeio Theater in Κastella is a popular destination during the summer because it hosts concerts and music bands along with the Municipal Theater in the center of town, popular for its theatrical performances. Plenty of cafes and bars exist in Marina Ζeas district where someone can enjoy a drink or a meal along the coast.
